Availability: We normally have stock available for many of the sizes mentioned in our catalogue however, in the event that an item that you require is out of stock, we will contact you by email giving you a lead time and ask how you would prefer to proceed. If you require large quantities not in stock or custom made sizes specific to your needs, we will endeavour to give you an estimated delivery time at the time of quote.
Delivery: Orders available in stock are normally despatched within 2 working days (Mon-Fri) of receipt. We will contact you by email with your Order number and a tracking reference. All delivery charges will be quoted in advance before placing your order and will include mandatory insurance. Delivery in the UK mainland usually takes place within 1-2 working days of the despatch day. If you do not receive delivery within 3 days of being notified that your order has been despatched, please contact us quoting the order number and we will investigate. Please allow 1-2 extra days for delivery to Scottish Island, Northern Island and Isle of Man.
International orders from stock have the same processing rules as UK Orders and are delivered usually within 5-7 working days in Europe, 10-15 working days to USA and approximately 20 working days to any other Country. Customer to pay for any duty fee or tax that the product is liable in the destination country’s Custom. We can always quote special export freight charges to any country for fast delivery.
For 20’ and 40’ Containers, we will deliver directly form Ecuador FOB.
Returns and Cancellations: You have the right to cancel your order at any time before goods are delivered to you for any reason.
Upon receipt of the goods we must be notified of any damage or shortage within 7 days. It is the responsibility of the customer to return the unwanted goods to us. In very exceptional circumstances we will collect the goods from the customer. In either of these instances the cost of returning the goods must be borne by the customer. A restocking and administration fee of the cost of the item may also apply.
Upon receipt of the goods we will supply a replacement or refund the price that you paid for the good and not including delivery charges (as arranged when you contact us), provided that such goods are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. Custom made or special sizes cannot be cancelled or returned.
Customer Complaints: We will respond to every customer complaint within 5 working days of the complaint being made, either by telephone, email or fax.

Customer Information Policy: Balsa Trading Ltd may collect customer information to improve our overall service. We recognise that we must retain this responsibly. We may use such information for our own marketing and promotional purposes but will not sell or provide customer information to any third party.
Our Contract: Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us. These terms and conditions, together with our delivery and contact details, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the goods to you by us. These terms and conditions cannot be varied except in writing signed by one of our Partners. In particular nothing said by any of our staff should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions or as an authorised representation about the nature or quality of any goods offered for sale by us.
Liability: We will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of our failure to supply any product or for any product being found to be damaged or defective upon receipt, other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question as per delivery’s insurance policy.
Use of Trademarks: No right or licence must be intended by the buyer to be transferred by the Seller for the use of any of the trade names, trademarks, registered marks of, or used by, Balsa Trading Limited.
Governing Law & Validity: The contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law, and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us. If any part of these conditions is invalid, illegal or unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the validity, legality or enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.
